STEP 1: Placing an Order ✅

Contact us by email, phone or use our convenient Request a Quote form.
Our friendly customer service team can assist via phone or contact you by email to provide information regarding product options, stock availability, pricing, current promotions and any other information that you may require to confirm your order.

 

STEP 2: Artwork Proof Approval ✅

An Artwork Proof form is then generated and sent to you by email for client approval. Simply print and sign the proof form and return to us by email or fax. Submit your artwork file by email in any format (see Artwork requirements below).  

Our Artwork Proof form will allow you to approve the appearance and placement of your logo and confirm all print production details of your order including the estimated shipment date. Film is kept on file indefinitely for convenience and consistency of repeat orders.

 

STEP 3: Shipment of your Order* 🚚 🌎 🛫

Upon completion and final inspection of your order we ship on your behalf via DHL unless otherwise specified. After shipment we provide automated tracking by email with scheduled delivery date.

Logo-printed orders with standard production are normally shipped within 10 business days and may be longer dependant upon seasonal production volume. Priority production and Rush order service is available dependant upon our current production capacity at time of order.

ARTWORK REQUIREMENTS

Artwork File Formats: Logo artwork files are usually vector files like Adobe Illustrator .AI files or .EPS files created by any number of other new graphics programs like Sketch. If you do not have an .AI or .EPS version of your logo our Art Department can convert your JPEG or TIFF file to a high resolution vector format for a nominal charge. Wherever possible, imprinting colors should be specified utilizing the Pantone-PMS® color reference system for print production environments. If any or all of the above sounds foreign to you, not to worry, our custom service team can help you sort it all out.


WARRANTY & QUALITY STATEMENT

Our weathertechQuality-Assurance system for all current tagUmbrella designs specifies a serviceable product-life expectation of a minimum of 5 years under normal individual-use conditions and applies to most items available on this website. In many cases tagUmbrella products have been known to be serviceable for 10-15 years or longer. 

Warranty: We provide warranty against manufacturer defects only when new product mechanisms are found to be defective. There is no warranty expressed or implied for products used in a commercial environment or in a sharing-economy use. No warranty on Clearance items.

Sample order policy

UMBRELLA SAMPLES ARE AVAILABLE FOR QUALITY-ASSURANCE

Sample orders are chargeable with full credit available toward any new production order confirmed within (~) 30 days of sample order shipment date. Samples ordered in advance of placing a production order, may be ordered unprinted (blank samples) or logo printed (pre-production samples):

Unprinted ‘blank samples’ are charged at $49.90/each Umbrella + delivery charges via DHL Express service ($39.90 handling/delivery) or expedited as client requested. Normally shipped from our distribution center within 2 business days.

Logo printed pre-production samples printed with your logo in advance of a fully-confirmed local production order - add to above; $100.00 for printed pre-production sample order charge + $75.00 screen set-up charge for each logo color. Printed samples are shipped from our northwest print production center asap!

Pre-production sample(s) for Customized Design Signature Umbrella orders printed at our Offshore production center are provided during the fulfillment process approx. 6 weeks following order confirmation with approved artwork, at no charge.

Note: ALL samples are non-returnable due to new material policy.


PRODUCTION LEAD TIMES: LOCAL & OFFSHORE

Lead time with standard production timing for logo-printed orders with quantities from 24-480 units, from our In-stock program, is normally (10) business-days from receipt of confirmed order with approved artwork until shipment from our Northwest Print Production center, subject to color availability at time of order confirmation. For logo-printed orders and custom design orders with larger production values and longer lead times, our offshore factory production service allows for best available wholesale pricing.

LOCAL Print Production lead times: standard production orders are normally shipped within 10 business days from receipt of a confirmed order with approved artwork. Priority and RUSH production orders are accommodated as follows;

  • Local Priority Production without a guaranteed shipping date; is available at absolutely no charge whenever it can be accommodated by our art department and printing section workflow.

  • 5-Business-Day RUSH Production with a specified estimated shipping date; is available whenever it can be accommodated by our art department and printing section workflow and chargeable at $150.00.

  • 3-Business-Day RUSH Production with a specified estimated shipping date; is available whenever it can be accommodated by our art department and printing section workflow and chargeable at $300.00.

  • 1-Business-Day RUSH Priority Processing with a specified estimated shipping date for unprinted blank stock orders; is available whenever it can be accommodated by our distribution center and transport logistics carrier and chargeable at $300.00. Note: next available business-day priority processing for unprinted blank stock orders (order confirmation cut-off time 1pm PCT).

OFFSHORE FACTORY Print Production orders with print production, assembly and packaging at our TAG Shenzhen Production Center provide best available pricing due to lower costs of print-production and associated costs.

  • OFFSHORE Production lead times: Approximately 12-16 weeks for single-order offshore factory production orders and ~20 weeks when combined with our stock program periodic replenishment orders.

TERMS OF SALE & OTHER INFORMATION

Billing Terms: All Invoices are net due upon invoice and must be prepaid at time of order confirmation unless a business account has been established in advance, or as otherwise agreed. Interest charges of 1.5% per month may be charged on over-due invoices.

Sales Tax: Prices listed on this web site and prices quoted do not include local or regional sales tax that may be applicable, unless otherwise specified.

Import Duties & Tariffs: Unit selling prices for US shipments are duty-taxes included based upon current US Customs Import duty tariff rates for Umbrellas-Telescopic at 0% 'Duty Free' and Umbrellas-Other at 8.2% Duty under classification categories [HS# 6601.91.00.00] and [HS# 6601.99.00.00] respectively. Any supplemental duties or additional duties charged as a result of US-China trade policy changes causing classification rate changes and any additional supplemental duties, tariffs or processing fees being imposed thereon, are for buyers account.

Freight Terms: EXW (Ex-Works) our print production facility or regional distribution center. Delivery charges are prepaid and charged on Invoice. List prices and quotes provided do not include delivery charges. Please contact our customer service to confirm freight charges. US shipments are EXW our Northwest distribution center and Canadian shipments EXW our Vancouver BC Print Production Center. Offshore factory production orders shipped via Ocean Freight or commercial Air Cargo are EXW our Shenzhen Production Center, our west coast warehouse or nearest port warehouse (as quoted) with freight delivery and handling charges prepaid and charged on invoice - transit cargo Insurance if required plus any International destination documentation fees, supplementary duties, tariffs or taxes for buyers account. All International shipment terms, outside the USA and Canada, are EXW our facility as quoted; Insurance if required, commercial cargo documentation fees, customs processing charges at destination plus any local tariffs, duties and taxes for buyers' account.

Additional Imprinting & Set-up Charges Unit prices shown at tagUmbrella.com include a one color imprint on one location and screen set-up charge for one color logo. Additional imprinting and screen set-up charges are as follows; Imprinting charges: $3.50 per color/location. Screen set-up: $75.00 per additional logo color. For printed orders less than 24 umbrellas, a less than minimum (LTM) charge of $75.00 applies.

Individual Packaging Charges for individual drop shipments: Mailing tubes or cartons - Folding Umbrellas: $3.75 each, Executive Umbrellas: $5.70 each, Golf Umbrellas: $5.90 each.

Split-shipment Charges: We can ship your bulk Umbrella order to multiple locations, anywhere in the world. Split shipment manifest charges apply: $12.50 per location (domestic) or $25.00 per location (International) with address labels supplied.

Production Variance:  Due to the production-environment nature of custom umbrella printing, it occasionally happens that an orders’ final production is over or under by up to 5% of the requested quantity. Your invoice will reflect any under or overage. If there is an absolute minimum quantity required for your program or event please let us know in advance. Availability: All orders are subject to stock availability at time of order confirmation.

Currencies: Invoice currency dependant upon the country of final delivery unless otherwise specified. Prices shown are USD for US shipments, CAD for Canadian shipments. International orders are quoted in US Dollars unless otherwise specified. Please contact TAG customer service for quotations in other regions/currencies.
