STEP 1: Placing an Order

Contact Us by email, phone or fax or use our Request a Quote form.
Our friendly customer service team can assist via phone or contact you by email to provide information regarding product options, stock availability, pricing and any other information that you may require to confirm your order.

 

STEP 2: Artwork Proof Approval

An Artwork Proof form is then generated and sent to you by email for client approval. Simply print and sign the proof form and return to us by email or fax. Submit your artwork file by email in any format (see Artwork requirements below).  

Our Artwork Proof form will allow you to approve the appearance and placement of your logo and confirm all print production details of your order and estimated shipment date.

 

STEP 3: Shipment of your Order*

Upon completion and final inspection of your order, we ship on your behalf via UPS standard ground service unless otherwise specified. After shipment we provide a confirmation by email including tracking information and scheduled delivery date.

* Printed orders are normally shipped within 10 business days and may be longer dependant upon seasonal production volume. Rush order service is available dependant upon our current production capacity at time of order.

ARTWORK REQUIREMENTS

Artwork File Formats: Logo artwork files are usually vector files like Adobe Illustrator .AI files or .EPS files created by any number of other new graphics programs like Sketch. If you do not have an .AI or .EPS version of your logo the Tag Art Department can can convert your high resolution JPEG or TIFF file to a vector format at a reasonable charge.
Wherever possible, imprinting colors should be specified utilizing either Pantone-PMS® or RAL® color specification systems. If any or all of that is Greek to you, not to worry, we'll help you sort it all out.


 

PRINTING & SET-UP CHARGES

Additional Imprinting & Set-up Charges Unit prices shown at tagUmbrella.com include a one color imprint on one location and screen set-up charge for one color logo. Additional imprinting and screen set-up charges are as follows; Imprinting charges: $2.50 per color / location. Screen set-up: $75.00 per additional logo color. Film is kept on file indefinitely for repeat orders. For printed orders less than 24 umbrellas, a less than minimum (LTM) charge of $75.00 applies.

INVOICE PAYMENT

Payment Methods: We accept payment by all major credit cardswire transfer, organization check (cheque) or Interac eTransfer where available.

Sales Tax: tagUmbrella.com list prices do not include any applicable local or regional sales tax.

Delivery Charges: are FOB our plant, prepaid and charged on Invoice. tagUmbrella.com list prices and quotes do not include delivery charges. Please contact TAG customer service to confirm freight charges via UPS or other carriers.

Currencies: Invoice currency dependant upon the country of final delivery unless otherwise specified. Prices shown are USD for US shipments, CAD for Canadian shipments. International orders are quoted in US Dollars unless otherwise specified. Please contact TAG customer service for quotations in other currencies.


 

QUALITY ASSURANCE SAMPLES

Sample Orders are charged (WITH FULL CREDIT AVAILABLE) as follows;

UNPRINTED Umbrella quality control samples are charged at the cost of the umbrella(s) + delivery.

PRINTED pre-production Umbrella samples printed with your logo in advance of placing a production order are charged at $145.00 for the first logo color + $75.00 per each additional logo color + cost of umbrella + $29.95 handling/delivery.

FULL CREDIT: The product and freight portion of any sample order invoice will be fully credited toward any new minimum order received within 30 days. All samples are non-returnable due to new material policy.


 

WEATHERTECH™ QUALITY

Product-Life Expectation: our Weathertech™ Quality Assurance System specifies a three year minimum product-life under normal individual-use conditions for most items available on this website. In many cases tagUmbrella products have been known to be serviceable for 10 years or longer. 

Warranty: We provide warranty against manufacturer defects only when new product mechanisms are found to be defective. There is no warranty expressed or implied for products used in a commercial environment and for clearance items.


 

 

PRODUCTION & SHIPPING

LOCAL Production orders are normally shipped within 10 business days but may take longer during seasonal peak production periods.

Local RUSH Production is available at absolutely no charge whenever it can be accommodated by our art department and printing section workflow.

 

OFFSHORE Production: tagUmbrella factory-direct production services (minimum quantity 480 umbrellas) deliver substantial cost savings due to lower offshore print production and handling costs. OFFSHORE Production lead times: Approximately 16 weeks for single-customer offshore umbrella orders and approximately 20 weeks for seasonal multiple-customer group orders.

 

Production Variance:  Due to the hands-on nature of custom umbrella printing, it occasionally happens that an order's production is over or under by up to 5% of the requested quantity. Your invoice will reflect any under or overage. If there is an absolute minimum quantity required for your program or event please let us know in advance. Logistics: UPS is TAG Umbrella's carrier of choice for in-stock, locally-printed, regional and national umbrella orders, however we can accommodate almost all other ground, sea and air freight logistics providers.

Domestic Shipments: US shipment terms are FOB Blaine WA and Canadian shipments are FOB Vancouver BC. Delivery charges are prepaid and charged on invoice, unless specified otherwise.

International Shipments: FOB our plant. International shipment and commercial cargo documentation charges as quoted. Customs processing at destination plus any tariffs, duties and taxes for buyers' account.

Individual Packaging: Mailing tubes or cartons - Folding Umbrellas: $3.75 each, Executive Umbrellas: $5.70 each, Golf Umbrellas: $5.90 each.

Split-shipments: We can ship your umbrellas to multiple locations, anywhere in the world. Split shipment manifest charge: $12.50 per location (domestic) or $25.00 per location (International) with address labels supplied.
