TAG standards-based™ purchasing system with a specified five year product-life standard (under normal use conditions) combined with major volume purchasing, provides our customers with economies of scale regardless of order quantities and the right design styles for virtually any corporate branded promotional use or licensed merchandising program.

Our range of standard fabric colors has been developed to meet North American corporate color standards, but virtually any custom color or custom design fabric is available upon request subject to minimum volumes. Custom fabric colors and Imprinting colors for in-stock ordering may be specified utilizing either Pantone-PMS® or RAL® color specification systems. Our custom logo print shop services include both factory printing for larger volume orders and in-house printing for smaller volume order requirements.

TAG | Ethical Purchasing Standards

TAG Umbrellas are manufactured in China (PRC) under TAG Ethical Purchasing Standards (Unpublished) ©1990-2007. Initially these standards were adopted into our internal purchasing practices to deter use of rain-forest wood products by our manufacturers in South Asia. Since the expansion of efforts of the International Labor Organization in China, we have expanded our standards with the adoption of 'awareness and promotion of ILS standards' to our manufacturing partners - with initial primary concern toward ILS Conventions concerning child labor (C7 Minimum Age, C15 Minimum Age, C138 Minimum Age, and C182 Child Labour (Worst Forms of)), summarized as follows;

Of the 184 Conventions that have been passed by the International Labour Conference, 8 have been identified as "Fundamental" Conventions by the ILO. The Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work, adopted by the 86th International Labour Conference held in Geneva (June 1998), relate to freedom of association, discrimination, forced labour and child labour.

The operational objectives of ILO's ILS work in China include:

(a) To promote and realize the ILO Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work;
(b) To provide technical advice and assistance for the ratification and application of ILO Conventions, including fundamental and priority Conventions;
(c) To conduct information and educational activities to promote greater awareness of (a variety of) international labour standards;
(d) To strengthen institutional capacity in labour inspection to promote the effective application of ILO Conventions, taking into account the relevant Conventions on labour inspection.
